Rwanda Premier League outfit completed the signing of 18-year-old potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Murdah Victor from ambitious Cameroon side AS Futuro of Mfou.
The Rwanda Club confirmed the player’s acquisition this Thursday, October 22 following complete negotiations with the player’s parent Club.
A message from AS Futuro few weeks ago confirmed the switch.
“Thanks for the memories and best of luck in your new challenge Vicky. We have reached an agreement with Rwandan side Espoir FC for the transfer of our striker, Murdah Victor” a message on the AS Futuro official Twitter read.
Noted for the proper treatment of players, AS Futuro scouted the player early this year and featured in close to 20 preparatory games, scoring four goals.
The player has penned a two-year deal with the Rusizi district Club and is expected to be a part of the first team squad next season.
He becomes AS Futuro’s second export to Rwanda all via the Alim Football management group. In the build up to last season, Karim Mbazo’o switched from AS Futuro of Mfou to another Rwandan outfit Kiyovu FC of Kigali.
