Morocco’s Football Federation has sacked head Coach of the Atlas Lions, Vahid Halilhodzic, few months to the Qatar World Cup.
This comes as a result of disagreements between both parties on how to manage the affairs of Morocco’s National Team ahead of the 22nd edition of the World Cup to be staged in Qatar.
The Bosnian Manager, Vahid and the Federation have negotiated to part ways in a friendly manner since they cannot come to an agreement that ties.
This is the third time he will miss the World Cup with National Teams he Qualified to the said Competition.
Having managed to qualify with Côte d’Ivoire in 2010, Japan in 2018 and Morocco in 2022, he will not be at the helm of the Lions Den later in November.
He pushed his boys to beat Dr Congo in the last round of Qualifiers to book a ticket to World Cup.
The former PSG coach, took over the Senior National Team of Morocco in August 2019.
The 69-year-old Coach could only take the North African Team to the quarter- final stage the 33rd edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon 2021. They were eliminated by Egypt.
