There is a good end to the long-standing story linking legendary Cameroon Elite One midfielder Joel Etogue to Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda.
The 29-year-old former Tiko United and Kumba Lakers midfielder has agreed a one-year deal to Cameroon Elite One side Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda.
Kick442.com has exclusively gathered that the player has completed formalities and signed up for the upcoming season awaiting license production and medicals.
The two times Cameroon Elite One winner plus 2015 winner of the cup of Cameroon returns to Bamenda after six years after he left for UMS of Loum from defunct National Polytechnic of Bambui.
Etogue is arguably YOSA’s biggest catch this window giving his leadership skills on and off the pitch.
Captain of UMS in at least four of his seven seasons at the Club Etogue fondly called Zaza in Loum will forever be remembered as one of the greatest player that the Club ever had.
Joel featured in over 250 games in all competitions for UMS, scored five goals from the holding midfielder role.
He won three trophies and finished runners up thrice in two competitions during his time at the Club.
He has joined the rest of the YOSA squad for routine activities.
