Legendary Cameroon Elite One side Union Sportive of Douala have completed the signing of of potential intermediate Lions of Cameroon forward Arouna Dang A Bissene.
The 27-year-old forward has joined Union Sportive of Douala on a one-year-deal from rivals Bamboutos FC of Mbouda.
This was confirmed on October 1, when the player appeared in the Union Sportive of Douala training ground, two weeks after Kick442.com reported the switch.
The 2016 Cameroon Elite One winner and most valuable player with UMS of Loum is an experienced with stints abroad.
Arouna scored two goals and provided an assist for Bamboutos in the just ended football season. His goal scoring prowess can not be put to question. He rose to prominence in the 2015_2016 season, when he powered 14 goals in 30 games in all competition for Union De Mouvement sportif of Loum.
After spells in Argentina, Angola, Algeria and Morocco, Arouna Dang came back to Cameroon in 2019 eyeing the CHAN.
He is well in contention for a place in the intermediate lions squad for the CHAN scheduled in Cameroon come January 2021 while waiting for the start of the season.
