The draws for the women’s French cup semi finals is out, and Paris FC of Michaela Abam would take on Lille to try and gain a spot in the finals that would be played on March 8th.
The task was not easy for the French capital club, as they had to grind out a 2-0 against FC Fleury; division 1 side, to make it to the last four.
The Draws were done on Tuesday, February 12, and their opponents would be Losc Lille feminine. Michaela Abam has one goal in the league, after a combined 103 minutes for the French out fit. The Lioness is yet to play 90 minutes in a league or cup game. However, Abam is now settled and the coach would fancy a strike partnership between Michaela Abam and Marina Makanza, the poacher who got Paris FC to this level with her ever important goals.
The last time the forward appeared in a semi final was in the College cup, with the University of North Carolina, as she scored the only goal leading them to their first ever final in history.
Born in Houston, Texas, United States_ the 21-year-old Michaela Abam made up her mind in 2018 to represent the green, red, yellow over presenting perhaps the best female football team in the world (America).
Abam was called up by Coach Joseph Ndoko for the 2018 AWCON, but she did not have a kick of the ball, as she still had to complete the paperwork about her switch of Nationality as she represented America at the u17 level.
The forward has her eyes fixed on the up coming world cup, and she can act as a little advantage to the Lionesses, as they play in the land of the host. Abam can help some team mates adapt quickly.
Abam is a promising talent as her records at her former club suggest; from 2014-2017 as a university West Virginia player, she played 90, scored 42 , and assisted 16. No doubts about the sensational forward adding to the attacking prioress of the Lionesses especially at a time when Deborah Enganamouit seems to be running out of steam.
