Three Nigerian players showed class as Leicester City defeated Randers FC 1-3 in the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 32 return leg game on Thursday.
Wilfred Nididi and Kelechi Iheanacho bagged assists in two of Leicester City’s goals while Stephen Odey scored Randers FC’s solitary goal.
Harvey Barnes breaks through before collecting a brilliant pass from Wilfred Ndidi in the second minute of play and produced a precise strike to beat the goalkeeper.
James Maddison doubles Leicester City’s lead in the 70th minute.
Four minutes later, Kelechi Iheanacho played a short, square pass into the path of James Maddison who bends a shot straight into the right side of the goal to make it 0-3.
Six minutes from full-time, Stephen Odey reduced Randers FC’s deficit.
Kasper Schmeichel in goal for Leicester City made a huge mistake and Stephen Odey has an easy task to put the ball into the back of the net.
Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Stephen Odey played for the duration of the game.
Leicester qualifies for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League 2-7 on aggregate.
