The first day of play in the North West Regional football league has produced its verdict with Hilltop Strikers of Bamendakwe and Rush FM FC sending warning signals to clubs eyeing the title.
Hilltop Strikers were the biggest winners of matchday one with an emphatic 6#0 win inflicted on Akam Sports Academy. The victory of the boys of coach Ngwa Remy confirms their title aspirant credentials.
Rush FM FC on their part produced a 4-star performance against Vision Athletics FC. A brace from Mbiyzenyuy Paul and two other goals from Bantar Kingsley and Wirngo Oliver secured all three points for Rush FM FC.
Other title favorites like FC Bamenda failed to impress after they were held to a virgin all-tie by Santos FC.
