NWPL Team of week 5 with Ossol Kelvine leading the line

With one (1) more match day to go to the conclusion of this season Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL), Ghanaian Patience Adjetey of Delta Queens and Cameroon’s Ossol Kevin of Abia Angels made the cut for the team of the week. The team released by NWPL Media is based on each players performance at last match week.

Adamawa Queens goal keeper Obindinma Nkiruka made the cut for keeping a clean sheet in her club 1-0 win over Heartland Queens.

In the defensive position, Uzoamaka Igwe (Bayelsa Queens), Amaechi Ojini (Rivers Angels),
Margaret Ademulegan (Abia Angels) and
Tosin Demehin (Sunshine Queens) made the list.

The midfield consist of three (3) midfielders thus Joke Ejalonibu (Nasarawa Amazons),
Patience Adjetey (Delta Queens), and
Regina Otu (Edo Queens). Patience Adjetey grabbed a brace for Delta Queens as they defeated Osun Babes 3-1.

In attack, the team consists of Monday Gift (FC Robo),
Ossol Kevin (Abia Angels), and
Uduakabong Peter (Ibom Angels) whose 71st minute goal secured victory for Ibom Angels in the club 2-0 triumph over Confluence Queens.

The team of the week is managed by manager of the week in Wemimo Olanrewaju Matthew of Sunshine Queens.
