2018-2019 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Pro-League Playoffs Champions, Royal Queens of Warri (formerly known as Olori Babes) paid a courtesy visit to monarch of where the club is based, Olu of Warri, Delta State. The visit to the palace which took place on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 was aimed at receiving Royal blessings from the monarch as well as to acquire support from the monarch prior to the club inaugural (debut) campaign in the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) come 2019-2020 season.
Royal Queens of Warri will be playing in top flight of Nigeria Women Football League next season after beating Pelican Stars, Police Machine and Moje Queens to emerge as winner of the 2018-2019 NWFL Pro-League Playoffs with maximum 9 points from 3 matches.
