Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum says the talent level in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) is quite high.
He said this during the 2021 NWFL Premiership Super Six holding at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode Ogun State, on Tuesday.
“I am happy. I think the talent level is quite high and the key now is for me to get some time for the players that we need to bring in and have some time to work with them.
“This is a great opportunity for me to see which player we want to bring to camp. I am very pleased about it.” Said Randy Waldrum after watching one of the Super Six games at Ijebu Ode.
“I have spoken to a couple of players that we took to Turkey just to say hello and I don’t want to interrupt with the quality of this tournament. We will wait till the end of the tournament to see the players that will be added to the Super Falcons.”
Waldrum invited Christy Ohiaeriaku (Edo Queens), Glory Ogbonna (Ibom Angels), Akinwande Kehinde (FC Robo Queens), and Monday Gift (FC Robo Queens) for Super Falcons last engagement at the Turkish Women’s Cup and is hoping to add new talents from the NWFL into the team ahead of Morocco 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) Qualifiers.
