Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL side, Rivers Angels have promoted the Team Manager, Matilda Otuene to the position of General Manager, www.kick442.com reports.
This news is coming after the Club signed three Ghanaian players ahead of the 2020-2021 NWFL Premiership season.
Matilda Otuene took to her social media handles to thank the Club for her elevation.

Official now. As l begin a New chapter in my career, as a General Manager, more work, more grace, more win, On christ the solid Rock I stand, Grace, Grace, Grace.” She posted and commented on her Facebook page.
The administrator as Rivers Angels Team Manager led the Port Harcourt based side to the 2018-2019 Nigeria Women Premier League, NWPL triumph, and was also elected as Chairperson of NWFL Club Owners Association. She also monitored the transfer of prominent Super Falcons players like Chiamaka Nnadozie (Paris FC), Tochukwu Oluehi (CD Pozoalbense), and Evelyn Nwabuoku (CD Pozoalbense)
to foreign Clubs and signing of a partnership agreement with Spanish Reto Iberdorla side, CD Pozoalbense.
