Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship side, Naija Ratels FC forced 2019 Aiteo Cup Champions, Nasarawa Amazons to a 1-1 draw in a Pre-Season friendly game at Yumaco Football Pitch, Lafia, on Monday, www.kick442.com reports.
After a goalless first half, Nasarawa Amazons scored the opening goal of the game in the 75th minute from Ovie Ovoma.
Eleven minutes later, Blessing Emmanuel equalised for Naija Ratels FC to force out a 1-1 draw.
Flamingos coach, Bankole Olowookere is using the friendly match to prepare his team (Naija Ratels FC) for the 2020-2021 NWFL Championship intending to gain promotion to the top flight. Since joining Naija Ratels FC from DreamStars FC, some players followed him from his former Club while he also signed some young talents ahead of next season.
Nasarawa Amazons on the other hand also signed some players which culminated in the Club’s second-place finish at the just concluded Flying Officers Cup.
