Edo Queens player, Elizabeth Nkiruka Zirike says young players in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) and across the country should be serious with their career and be happy in the long run because they have the power to their happiness.
“My advice for the young players is for them to work hard and be serious with their career and know what they are doing. They should also try to make themselves happy no matter what happens because their happiness is in their hands.” She told www.kick442.com.
Elizabeth Zirike has scored a goal so far for Edo Queens in the 2021 NWFL Premiership which is currently on one month break to ensure clubs complete their COVID-19 tests.

She scored Edo Queens’ equalising goal in the 88th minute as they forced defending Champions, Rivers Angels to a 1-1 draw in week three after Vivian Ikechukwu had given the visitors the lead at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
Edo Queens occupied the fourth position with eight points in four games.
They have won two games against Royal Queens (4-1), and DreamStar FC Ladies (0-1), and have drawn two games against Rivers Angels (1-1), and Sunshine Queens (0-0).
Before joining Edo Queens, Elizabeth Zirike has played for Key Taiwo FC, Tokas Queens FC,
Osun Babes,
Sunshine Queens,
Samaria Ladies FC in Ghana, DreamStars FC Ladies, and
Ibom Angles.
