The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) will be collaborating with the United Nations (UN) for the opening fixture of the 2020/2021 NWFL Premiership season, www.kick442.com reports.
The collaboration is to publicize the Safe Home Campaign on gender-based violence against women and girls.
The NWFL Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mrs. Faith Ben-Anuge confirmed this on her Twitter handle.

The fixture between 2019 Aiteo Cup Champions, Nasarawa Amazons and FC Robo Queens at the Lafia Township Stadium, is the official opening fixture of the 2020/2021 NWFL Premiership season which will kick off on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
