Nigerian forward, Simy Nwankwo scored his 13th goal in the Italian Serie A this season as his side, Crotone suffered a 2-3 defeat to Bologna on Saturday.
Junior Messias unleashed a beautiful rocket of a shot from a long-range free-kick. The ball goes into the bottom left corner and leaves the goalkeeper beaten in the 32nd minute for Crotone’s opening goal of the game.
In the 40th minute, Simy Nwankwo doubled their lead from the penalty spot. He put the ball into the bottom right corner past the outstretched arm of Lukasz Skorupski.
Rodrigo Palacio sprayed a pass out to Adama Soumaoro and he had an easy job to slot the ball into an empty net to pull a goal back for Bologna in the 62nd minute.
Jerdy Schouten gets a shot away from the edge of the box and scores into the top right corner to equalise for Bologna in the 70th minute off an assist from Musa Barrow.
Andreas Skov Olsen was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifled the ball low into the middle of the net to complete Bologna’s comeback win over Crotone.
Simy Nwankwo played for the duration of the game. He has recorded 13 goals in the Italian Serie A with two assists in 28 games.
Crotone occupied the last position on the league table with 15 points from 28 games.
They will travel to play Victor Osimhen’s Napoli in their next game on April 3, 2021.
