Nigeria duo of Simy Nwankwo and Victor Osimhen both scored for their Italian Serie A sides as SSC Napoli defeated Crotone 4-3 in Saturday’s Round 29 tie.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo played the ball to Lorenzo Insigne in the 19th minute. Insigne’s deflected shot from inside the box goes past helpless Alex Cordaz in goal for Crotone.
Three minutes later, Osimhen made it two for Napoli.
Lorenzo Insigne this time turned the provider as he slips the ball to Osimhen who simply steered it home from close range.

In the 25th minute, Simy Nwankwo pulled a goal back for Crotone. He converted a killer cross with a precise low shot that goes into the bottom corner.
Dries Mertens scored a wonderful goal with a perfect technical strike which goes exactly into the top left corner to put the scoreline at 3-1.
In the second half, Simy Nwankwo scored his and Crotone’s second goal of the game in the 48th minute. Junior Messias meets a cross inside the box and heads the ball across the goal, where Simy lurks and pokes it into the back of the net.
A catastrophic error by Napoli gifted Crotone a chance in the 59th minute resulting in the equaliser as Junior Messias rolled the ball into the back of the net from close range.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo scored the winning goal for Napoli in the 72nd minute.
Simy Nwankwo has scored 15 goals in the league this season with two assists and is currently the fourth-highest goal scorer in the league behind Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus), Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan), and Muriel (Atalanta).
Victor Osimhen on the other hand has scored four goals with one assist for Napoli this season.
Napoli occupied the fourth position on the Italian Serie A table while Crotone continues to wallow in the relegation waters.
