Anthony Nwakaeme was on target for his Turkish Süper Lig side, Trabzonspor as they defeated Fatih Karagümrük 1-2 in the course of their week 16 fixture.
Nwakaeme put his side ahead in the 46th minute at the Vodafone Park, Istanbul.
Jure Balkovec equalised for the host in the 70th minute.
When it seemed like the game will end in a 1-1 draw, Ghananian Caleb Ekuban scored the winning goal for Trabzonspor in the 81st minute.
Nwakaeme played for the duration of the game.
Trabzonspor occupied the seventh position on the Turkish Süper Lig table with 23 points in 16 games.
They will welcome Brown Ideye and Nwobodo’s Göztepe on January 6, 2021.
