Picked by his coach as man of the match in Fovu’s three nil victory over Colombe of Dja and Lobo, Lionel Ntebeu Djoko has hinted on the source of Fovu’s strength in home games.
Speaking minutes after assisting two of his sides three goals in the win the midfielder told kick442.com that playing in Bafoussam presents an advantage to his team.Hear him;
“It was a good victory today, we took every detail into consideration”
Reacting to the question on his side’s brilliant home run which extended to nine games without defeat after Sunday’s results, Ntebeu brought out his team’s “wild cat”
“We master the climate very well, so playing at home is relatively better for us. The pitch conditions here in Bafoussam also works well for us. These two factors makes the difference and explains why we are solid at home”: Ntebeu concluded.
The latest win takes Fovu of Baham to the seventh spot on the log with 36 points ahead of their trip to Garoua.
In all Ntebeu had a good game on the day. He made work difficult for potential intermediate Lions midfielder Fabrice Onana. He told this reporter off microphone that his fitness level is at it’s best now having endured a slow start of the season due to inadequate preparations for the season.
