According to a statement on the club’s official twitter handle, Kano Pillars have issued a three-match ultimatum to their technical crew after their 1-0 loss to Lobi Stats of Makurdi at home.

The statement reads: ”Following our one nil home lose to Lobi Stars FC on Sunday in the MD3 of the 2019/2020 NPFL season. The management of the club has given a three-game ultimatum to the technical crew to improve on the team’s performance.”

The statement concluded with the piece of information that their will be an emergency meeting to discuss the club’s recent form.

”An emergency meeting will be held tomorrow (today).” The statement said.

Kano Pillars have played two matches in the league this season and have been able to garner only a point despite playing the games at their home ground, the Sanni Abacha Stadium.

A barren draw against Rivers United in match day one and a 1-0 loss on Sunday against Lobi Stars has left the club management unhappy and many fans and the league enthusiasts alike wondering was is wrong with the SaiMasu Gida.

Some have already attributed the clubs recent form to the three – match ban given to the Pillars fans and the absence of their inspirational captain, Rabiu Musa.

The Kano base club sits seventeenth in the log of the league.
