There are three (3) rescheduled midweek matches in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) slated for Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
Group B Fifth (5th) placed Kano Pillars will host third (3rd) placed FC Ifeanyiubah at the Sani Abacha stadium as both sides tries to tussle for the top two (2) spots which will qualify them for the playoffs as well as qualifiers for continental engagement.
Niger Tornadoes will travel to Makurdi to face Lobi Stars. This is a 4th Vs 12th (last placed team) encounter. Lobi Stars will try to see if they can make the top two (2) while Niger Tornadoes continue her fight to beat the drop zone.
Finally at Gateway Stadium, Sagamu, Ogun state, Remo stars will host Enugu Rangers. Rangers are playing one of their six (6) outstanding matches due to their continental engagement. In spite their backlog of matches yet to be played, the Enugu based club are in third (3rd) position in Group A and can overtake MFM FC (1st position) and Enyimba FC (2nd position) if they have positive results from their outstanding games.
Remo stars on the other hand need a home win at all cost to be able to escape relegation as the team is languishing in the 11th position on the table swimming in the relegation waters.
We expect a tight and keenly contested mid week clashes as teams continue to battle it out for points on the field of play.
