Remo Stars of Ogun were relegated on Thursday in Nigeria Professional League after their goalless draw against Enyimba of Aba at Sagamu.
The Sky Blue Stars who needed a win to keep their chances alive, unfortunately could not get a the desired win at home against the People’s Elephant of Aba in a match that produce not much chances.
The Ogun State team who currently sits at the bottom of Group A of the NPL, has now played 20 matches and won 4, drew 7 and lost 9 with 19 points joins Yobe Desert Stars who sits bottom at the Group B of the NPL table on relegation
Though with two matches left to play in the league, Remo Stars who are on 19pts confirmed their relegation as they can no longer leave the drop zone even if they win their last two games which is against Kwara United and Lobi Stars respectively.
Meanwhile, Enugu Rangers qualified for the super six after they won insurance on Wednesday in the match day 20 fixtures at the Cathedral in Enugu.
