A NPFL club side for the first time in history now have a female club president. Charity Obuah is the new president of Go Round Football Club and this took effect from Monday, January 14, 2019. The former president, Felix Obuah stepped down from the role to chase another endeavor.
Felix Obuah has been president of the club since 1994 and decided to relinquish the position on Saturday, January 12, 2019 to pursue an elective position in the Rivers State Football Association.
Charity Obuah, wife of Felix Obuah was the Vice President of the club was named as his replacement on Monday, January 14, 2019. Soni Uboh remains General Manager of the Club.
Go Around FC have registered wins in their opening two games in the NPFL and seem to be a very “steady ship” in a marathon top flight campaign in Nigeria.
