Nigeria’s representative in 2019-2020 CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba and Enugu Rangers both secured their first win of the season in their rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) midweek fixtures.

Enyimba 3-1 Nasarawa United
Austin Oladapo 19th minute penalty put the People’s Elephant ahead before Obi sloted into the bottom corner to double Enyimba’s lead at the death of the half (47th minute).
The goal followed a great run and assist from Abalogu.
In the 58th minute,
Owolabi hitted in a rebound for Nasarawa United after his initial penalty was saved by Afelokhai to pull one goal back for the visitors.
Oladapo’s 82nd minute goal sealed victory for Enyimba.

Rangers 1-0 Sunshine Stars
Enugu Rangers also recorded a victory with a slim 1-0 home triumph over Sunshine Stars of Akure, Ondo State.
Egbujuo 55th minute goal was enough to seal victory for the flying antelopes.

Akwa United and Abia Warriors both settled for a goalless draw in the other match played on Thursday, November 14, 2019.
The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Week 3 fixtures is expected to continue next weekend.

Enugu Rangers 1-0 Sunshine Stars
