Rivers United arrived Kaduna on Monday for their Wednesday game against Kano Pillars at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
The Rivers team were on board the Azman Airline from Port Novo after their CAF Confederation Cup match against Bloemfontein Celtic.
The Pride of Rivers are on a high after their three nil win over the South African side on Thursday.
They play Kano Pillars with a view to getting a win which will take them back to the zenith of the log after Nasarawa United leapfrogged them on Sunday.
The match between the two giants comes up on Wednesday by 4pm.
