League leaders, Plateau United are not looking to bottle their lead yet as they won their match day 24 tie against Nasarawa United two goals to one to go four points ahead Rivers United at the New Jos Stadium.

Plateau United who were a point ahead last week after the two teams won are now four points ahead as Rivers United lost their match.

Amos Gyang gave the home side the lead in the 27th minute of the game. Nasarawa United however replied with a 40th minute goal by Chinedu Ohanachom.

Ibrahim Mustapha made sure that the home side took the whole points after his goal in the 82nd minute.

Enyimba International of Aba got back to winning ways after a big win at home against Sunshine Stars of Akure.

The defending champions were three nil winners at the Aba Township Stadium after their caf confederation cup ousting last week.

Martins Usule opened score for Enyimba in the 12th minutes before Stanley Dimgba made it two in the 54th minutes.

When it seemed the game was going to end at 2-0, Dare Olatunji put the icing on the cake to make it three in the additional time for the people’s elephant.

Rangers International were one nil victorious over Rivers United at the Cathedral on Sunday.

Chinonso Eziekwe scored the lone goal in the 39th minute of the game for the Flying Antelope.

Kwara United also won by a goal to nil through Chinedu Ufere’s strike in the 82nd minute.

Warri Wolves continued their winning run in the league after beating MFM of Lagos by two goals to nothing.

Michael Okoyoh and Charles Atshimene scored late in the 89th and 90th minutes to seal the victory.

Heartland Fc handed Lobi Stars of Makurdi a two nil defeat at the Okigwe Stadium in Owerri.

The away side drew the first blood scoring before the end of first half through John-Paul Chinedu’s 45th minute goal.

However, Yakub Hammed and Fatai Abdullahi’s goals ensured Abia Warriors won at home.
