The Nigerian Professional Football League comes alive again with nine matches across the country this Sunday.
Apart from Enyimba International of Aba who have a continental engagement with Horayo FC today all other matches will go as scheduled.
Meanwhile, one of the games in the match day that will come with glitz and glamour is the game between Kano Pillars and Dakkada International FC of Uyo.
Kano Pillars, not until the 3-1 loss to MFM have been in great form not losing in thirteen matches and sitting in 10th with 27 points.
On the other hand, Dakkada have been the revelation of the season in the 2020 NPFL season as debutants with 31 points and 6th on the log.
A look at Dakkada’s away record this season shows the team remains one of the best travellers.
So NPFL fans might be in for a cracker of some sort.
To put things into perspective, the two teams boost of great form at home for Pillars and away for Dakkada.
Kano Pillars have not lost at the Sani Abacha Stadium this season while Dakkada has not lost in nine matches while away.
Meanwhile, Pillars defeated Dakkada in the first leg of this tie and look likely to take this one too to complete the double over them.
The two teams couldn’t record a win in their last matches and will go into the match with the desire to win.
The two teams unfortunately, have some players sideline for this game.
For Kano Pillars, David Ebuka, Rabiu Abbas Nasiru Sani , Victor Denis and Adeshola David are all out for this tie according to Tobi Adepoju.
According to @undisputed Sam on twitter, Dakkada’s experienced centre-back Harrison Ibukun will miss tomorrow’s game against Kano Pillars due to illness and has failed to travel with the squad.
The game starts by 4 pm Nigerian time.
