Prior to the start of the match day 17 fixtures of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) no team had scored five goals, but league leaders Kwara United changed that narrative on Sunday.
The Afonja Warriors put five pass Adamawa United at the Ilorin Township Stadium all thanks to the fire power of Stephen Jude.
The attacker scored an hat trick and assisted two for his team to record its highest win in a long while.
Jude started with an assist for Michael Ohanu to scored the first goal of the match in the 6th minutes.
He got his first goal came in the 35th minutes of the game after the away team failed to clear their lines.
Jude scored his second at the resumption of the second half 15 minutes to the game.
The front man capped his great performance with another assist for Ohanu to make it four in the 71st minutes.
Kwara United were heading for a great victory with four goals in the bag as at the 90th minutes, but Jude made the story more interesting as scored his third to make it five.
He rounded up Adamawa United goalkeeper at additional time to compound the woes of the bottom team in the log.
