The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) resumes this weekend with Week 15 fixtures billed for Saturday April 13 and Sunday April 14, 2019.
There is one (1) early game on Saturday ahead normal Sunday routine fixtures as Remo Stars of Sagamu, Ogun state travel to face Bendel Insurance in search for favourable result that might help the club escape Relegation. The first leg at Gateway Stadium, Sagamu ended in 1-1 draw as Remo Stars rallied round to avoid opening day defeat in a game that was marred by referee being beaten and Remo Stars being banished to Osogbo Township stadium.
On Sunday April 14, 2019, there are eleven (11) eye catching fixtures for footballing pleasure.
Enyimba will welcome Kwara United.
Rivers United will travel to Katsina to trade tackle with Katsina United.
At Agege stadium, Lagos, it will be an encounter of Group A second (2nd) Vs fourth (4th ) placed sides as MFM FC tries to return to winning ways against Lobi Stars after two (2) games without victory (1-1 Vs Enyimba and a defeat to Kwara United).
Niger Tornadoes host Wikki Tourist in another fixture while Rangers will try to extend her 10 match unbeaten run as the club travel away to play Sunshine Stars of Akure who defeated Lobi Stars 3-0 last Thursday.
Yobe Desert Stars will also travel to Aba, Abia state where the club will trade tackle with Abia Warriors. Group B leaders, Akwa United welcomes Kano Pillars hoping to capitalise of her position on the league table. Plateau United will travel to Maiduguri to meet El Kanemi warriors.
Criss crossing to Gombe where Gombe United will battle new boys, Delta Force in another fixture. Heartland FC of Owerri will also welcome Nasarawa United while the last fixture of the week will see FC Ifeanyiubah hosting Go Round FC.
It promise to be another week of exciting football on Nigeria league scene as clubs continue to justle for playoffs places as well as beat the drop in the relegation zone.
