The Chief Executive of Officer of Kada City Football Club, Ekene Adams has stepped down from heading the affairs of the club following a joint Board and Management meeting held on Friday 3rd May 2019 in Abuja.
The meeting which was presided by Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi who serves as the club President, also saw the former CEO, Ekene Adams in attendance.
According to a press release made on Saturday, Mr Heyman Abdullahi who was part of former board has been appointed to head the newly constituted seven man interim management committee to run the club.
The club statement reads in full:
“Following a joint Kada City Board and management meeting held on Friday, 3rd of May 2019, in Abuja which was presided by the President of Kada City football club, Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi, the club has appointed a seven man interim management committee to take over the day to day affairs of the club.
The decision followed the impromptu resignation of the CEO, Mr Ekene Abubakar Adams which has been accepted by the Board.
The Board has directed that all files, documents, properties etc belonging to Kada City football club be handed over to the Head of the interim Management, Mr Heyman Abdullahi.
Further joint resolution of the meeting directed that an audit team to be appointed to determine all revenues and expenditure of the organization from inception to date. This is to ensure a smooth financial transition and responsibilities of the club.”
