Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Abia warriors has named Mr. Patrick Ngwaogu as the club’s first Sporting Director.
According to the Chairman of the club Pastor Emeka Inyama, the decision to promote the club’s Match Reader to Sporting Director followed his high level of man management and for bringing professionalism into the club.
Patrick Ngwaogu is a graduate of University of Ibadan and NIS (Nigerian Institute of Sports). He is also a CAF licensed Coach and one of the few Nigerian coaches trained abroad in Match Reading and Analysis.
Mr Ngwaogu hails from Umuode Ikenna Nsulu Autonomous Community, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia State.
He was the immediate past Vice Chairman of the FCT ( Federal Capital territory) Football Association (FA), immediate past Secretary of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Coaches Association, a sports journalist and an influential member of FCT SWAN (Sports Writers Association of Nigeria).
Ngwaogu is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment and his aim is to work closely with the Club ,the Management and the able Chairman to lift trophy for Abia Warriors and get a continental ticket for the club.
