It was a pulsating match at the All England finals as tennis top two seeds in the Roger Federer and Novak had a go at each other.
It was the world number one who nicked it at the end of a five sets match in a game that lasted for almost five at 6-7(5), 6-1, 6-7(4), 6-4 , 7-6 (4).
It’s Novak 5th Wimbledon which sees him equal Borg & Laurie Doherty in 4th place on all-time list and beats Federer for a 5th consecutive time.
Roger Federer started very well but too many errors by the Switzerland man gave the Serbian 7-6(5) win to take the first set after a tie-break in a sensational way.
However, Federer outsmarted his opponent in the second set beating Novak 6-1.
The third set went to a tie break and the Serbian again made it count with 7-6(4), after another round of slips by Federer.
Federer has always found it difficult to win a game against Novak after going down in a set as in 15 games, he has only won 1.
Despite Novak having his first break point in the fourth set, Roger Federer took it, 6-4 in a match game that had signs of going to five sets.
The fifth set and the seventh game was breath taking as two players made it a top class finish.
