The North West Regional football championship enters the mini interpools stage on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
Eight teams that distinguished themselves during the group stage of the league will battle for the lone ticket to represent the region at the National Interpools and battle for a ticket in the elite two championship.
Kumbo Strikers, Universal Soccer Academy, Hilltop Strikers, Bang Bullet, Rainbow FC, Options Sports Academy, Kilum Mountain Rangers, and Bafmeng United will battle it out for the coverted trophy.
The quarterfinal matches to begin on Saturday, June 25, will be played on a home and away basis at the Presbyterian School Field, Ntaafi.
Kumbo Strikers
Kumbo Strikers went undefeated throughout the season.

In their 8 matches played, the team won 4 and draw 4, and recorded 16 points to finish first in Pool A. The team seeks to return to where they used to belong.
Universal Soccer Academy
Last season’s defeated finalist, Universal Soccer Academy(Sopocam Rush FC) is poised to correct the wrongs of last season.

The boys of coach Soh Simplis recorded 15 points to finish second in Pool A winning 4 matches, 3 draws, and one defeat.
Hilltop Strikers of Bamendakwe
Hilltop Strikers has definitely achieved a lot as compared to their performance of last season.
However, the club has its eyes fixed on the trophy.

Under the guidance of coach Ngwa Remy, boys from the hill top of Bamendakwa finished top of Pool B with 25 points after recording 8 wins, 1 draw, and a defeat.
Bang Bullet FC of Nkambe

Coach Njoumou Dominique and his Messiah Boys as they are called had a spectacular second half of the season as they finished second in Group B.
Bang Bullet won 7 matches, 2 draws, and a defeat picking up 23 points.
Rainbow FC

Experienced coach Toguem Jean Baptiste certainly is under a lot of pressure as the main objective of Rainbow FC is an elite two ticket.
Rainbow FC finished top of Pool C with 19 points. They won 6 matches, 1 draw, and one defeat.
Options Sports Academy Bamenda
Options Sports are the surprise of the season so far as they have qualified for the mini interpools just the first time of asking.

Promoted from the Mezam divisional league last season, Options Sports finished second in Pool B.
In 8 matches played, Options Sports won 5, drew 2, and one defeat.
Kilum Mountain FC
“The bees are alive” as they say it. This is the first time since its creation that Kilum Mountain FC is getting to this level, qualifying for their first over mini interpools.
They were defeated just once this season as they recorded 8 wins and a draw.
Bafmeng United (BUFA)

Bafmeng United is also eyeing the trophy after missing it out last season.
With the experience of coach Tama Wango, Bafmeng United finished second in Pool D with 18 points after picking up 6 victories and 3 defeats.
