The North West Preseason Solidarity Tournament has gone underway in Bamenda with the opening encounter Friday Friday 4, 2022 that saw third division side Hiltop Strikers forcing Elite Two Rangers FC of Bafut but 1-1 all tie.
The football match that took place at the St Paul field in Mile III Nkwen allowed Tanwie Bernard of Hiltop Striker with a dangerous header that saw Rangers goalkeeper, Alvin Bintso Anye watch helplessly as the ball enters the net at the 28 minutes.

During a post-match interview, Coach Ngwa Remy of Hiltop Strikers said he was satisfied with the draw picked up by his team against an Elite Two side team because his boys trained just for two weeks before the tournament. H as well frowned at his players for letting the equalizer just minutes to the end of the match.
on his part Coach, Anumewa Franklin congratulated the players who entered during the second half where they mounted pressure and gave the team the lone goal. He told the players that Rangers will top pole A.
