Cameroon international brick wall-center back, Jean-Armel Kana Biyik,29 is not going going to extend his contract with Turkish first-tier side, Kayserispor after a 3 year stint with the club.
This week Kana-Biyik alongside representatives of Kayserispor announced that he is going to quit when the running contract expires. The Turkish press has echoed that another premier division side in the name of Trabzonspor would like a union with the player.
Biyik is now at the the peak of his career though he hasn’t really sparkled at national level, the center-half has been a vital ingredient in all four clubs he has kicked the ball in his senior career:Le Havre, Rennes, Toulouse, and now Kayserispor-scoring 7 goals in over 240 appearances at senior level.
Kana Biyik is in the provisional list of 37 players called up to represent Cameroon in the land of the Pharaohs; if he gets anywhere near the form that made him represent the French U21 side in 2009, then, the football fans will definitely forget in a hurry the absence of Matip and Nkoulou.
