Vandrezzer Football Club Brazilian Coach, Rafaeal Everton, and his Assistant have arrived in Nigeria ahead of the anticipated kick-off of the 2020-2021 Nigeria National League, NNL season, www.kick442.com can report.

The NNL side confirmed this on Saturday.
“Vandrezzer FC is pleased to announce to its teeming fans and supporters, the arrival of coach Raphael Everton and his assist, Jose Israel in anticipation for the commencement of the 2020/2021 football season in Nigeria.” The Club writes on their social media handles.

The gaffer arrived in the company of his assistant coach, Jose Israel, barely two weeks after the duo extended their contract with the club until 2021.
Everton who landed at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos Nigeria at about 18:00hr on a flight from Brazil.

Describing the journey from Brazil to Nigeria, the gaffer narrates; “We are very aware that these are strange times especially with the prevalence of the COVID -19. All through the journey, we were very conscious of our environment. We wore our nose mask, observed social distancing, and sanitized our hands at regular intervals. Having arrived in Nigeria, we would, as directed by the Management of the Club, immediately proceed to self-isolate In line with Vandrezzer FC’s internal Covid-19 guidelines”.

The Brazilian tactician, who has overseen the affairs of the team since 2019, reveals his plans for the Lions of Naija. He noted, “I am very excited to be back in Nigeria. I have returned more focused than ever before. This season we would channel all our energy to building a formidable team and securing promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL.

“This season, we would make major changes to our squad. we would release some players while we make new signings to strengthen the team this season.”

Last season, Vandrezzer FC was on course to achieving promotion as the Club was placed 4th on the table despite having two matches yet to be played before the 2019/2020 season was unceremoniously truncated.

The arrival of the head coach and his assistant in addition to the various IT infrastructure and safety facility upgrades at the club camp is a sure sign that the club is ready for business.
