Niger Tornadoes Technical Adviser Abubakar Bala Mohammed has cautioned his players especially the unserious ones to tighten their belt or be shown the exit door.

Speaking to Tornadoes Media Coach Bala said, his target is to return the Ikon Allah Boys to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) next season, a task he described as daunting but surmountable, saying it is a collective responsibility of all, starting with the players who he said are expected to give 100%.

“We had one of the best preseason preparation by all standard, which we expect would translate into a better season, kudos to the management for the unwavering support, so far into the season we’ve played three matches, won 2 drew 1 and seats atop the group A2 Table of the NNL”.

He said the team is poised to consolidate on it leadership position hence the warning to the players, to demonstrate the confidence repose in them.
According to the Technical Adviser, the team has been engaging in series of friendly matches to keep the players in top shape before the new date is announced for the continuation of the league.

Tornadoes played goalless against Kada City at the Bako Kontagora Stadium on Friday, January 17, 2020, the team is expected to travel to Kaduna this week for the return leg of the friendly encounter as the technical crew continue to work on the teams tactics.
