After being held to a 1-1 draw by Nilayo FC last weekend in Abeokuta, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, hope to return to winning ways this Sunday as they play host to Ekiti United.
The table topping Oluyole Warriors, go into the Nigeria National League (NNL) Group B1, Matchday five encounter, billed for the Lekan Salami Stadium, aiming to keep their hundred percent home record intact, after defeating Go Round FC and Osun United respectively by 3-0 scoreline.

After a disappointing result in Yenagoa, Head Coach of Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC), Daniel Ogunmodede has insisted that his side will get a massive win against Calabar Rovers FC in Match day five (5) of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The fixture which is scheduled to take place at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu on Sunday, 22nd of December comes as the last game of the year 2019 for the Sky Blue Stars in Sagamu.
Remo Stars FC have dropped to fifth position after match day four result in the ongoing Nigeria National League with one win, one draw, losing one to Bayelsa United and are five points adrift leaders, Crown FC.
However, the Sky Blue Stars opponents for match day five, Calabar Rovers FC didn’t take a part in the last game of the Nigeria National League after their game was put on hold due to the ongoing Cross River, Calabar carnival holding at the U.J Esuene Stadium.
In a chat with Remo Stars Football Club Press (RSFCPRESS), Daniel Ogunmodede says his boys will bounce back from the disappointing outing they had last weekend.
“That’s football generally because you will some and loss some but that game wasn’t a game we should have lost but I have told the boys to get over it and face the challenge ahead.”
“I am quite optimistic the boys bounce back with the process we went through this week, they are very ready to face the task ahead, and I am so sure my boys will come out top.”
“We will continue to do our bit, the boys are hungry going by the outcome of our games since the commencement of the league, we haven’t really started scoring goals yet, and I am sure that the goals will start coming from this weekend against Rovers.”
Remo Stars FC and Calabar Rovers FC have played three games each and a point separates them from each other, a win for either side will reduce the deficit for the host to two and three for the visitors.
