The Coach of Tottenham Hotspur (Small Soppo, Tole, Long Street, Clerks Quarters and Great Soppo) Enang-Nzene Severin has told kick442.com that should his team play the same way they did in the first semi-final of the Njie Clinton End of Year Tournament, he does not see any team stopping them.
Coach Enang and his team Tottenham Hotspur defeated Olympique de Marseille (Buea Town and Bokwaongo) by 4 goals to 1 in the first semi-final played at the Buea Town Municipal Stadium.
A brace from Mbinglo Lartey, and a goal from Collins, and Tonga Junior was enough for Spurs to get the victory after Oscar Ngumbo had earlier put Lyon 1 goal ahead in the opening minutes of the game.
“We will come and watch the other team. If we produce the game that we did produce today, I do not think there is a team that will stop us. We need to understand that Njie Clinton is coming out of our quarter and it is a pressure for us to arrive at the final and win it,” Enang Severin, who is the Coach of Prisons Social Club of Buea told kick442.com.
The team had been training since Monday December 21, to make sure that they are a hundred per cent ready for the game.
To Coach Enang Severin one of the challenges the team had was that of selecting the players to take part in the competition. “We are coming from four quarters and we had to select the best and also to come out with the first eleven. Most of the players are playing in the second division and Elite level and so to recruit them was not easy,” Coach Enang Severin said.
The victory for Tottenham Hotspur (Small Soppo, Tole, Long Street, Clerks Quarters and Great Soppo) sees them qualify for the final of the Clinton Njie End of Year Tournament. They will wait to play the winner of the second semi-final that comes up December 24 between Olympique de Marseille (Molyko and Bonduma) versus Dynamo Moscow (Mile 16, Muea and Bomaka).
