Reports from Turkish media have it that, Turkish Super League side Istanbul Basaksehir have listed 26-year-old Cameroonian forward Njie Clinton Mua as a possible transfer target for the club in the upcoming transfer window.
The Dynamo Moscow forward is barely a year into his four-year-deal with the Russian outfit. Having failed to seal a starting berth at the Russian capital, the ex Marseille winger may be on his way to a new environment.
Reports say Basaksehir’s deputy coach and former Cameroon international Pierre Achille Webo Kouama has identified Njie as a piece needed in the puzzle of the Turkish side currently ranked second in the Super League.
The Cameroon international has scored once in 15 appearances this campaign attracting some critics of his performance.
The former Olympique Lyonnais man came through the Brasserie football Academy and moved to Europe at the age of 16.
Since arriving the old continent, he has gone on to represent Olympique Lyonnais,Tottenham Hotspurs, Olympique Marseille and Dynamo Moscow.
Njie has scored nine goals in 31 appearances for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon since his debut in September 2015.
He was a part of the Cameroon team that won the 2017 AFCON tournament in Gabon.
Working with Webo can be a great factor in reviving Njie’s career which has not certainly gone as planned.
