Founded in September 2000, in the seaside resort city of Limbe (Victoria) by late football enthusiast Henry Njalla Quan, Njalla Quan Sports Academy (NQSA) stands out to be one of Cameroon’s finest in harnessing young football talents. The Academy with the main Vision to lead and become Cameroon and Africa’s best has since its creation produced some of the country’s finest. Fai Collins and Ndip Tambe( 2017 AFCON champions), Seidou Boraze (Benin), Étame Ngombe (presently taking part in the Total CHAN 2020) for Cameroon and a host of other fine breeds have emerged from the NQSA academy since its creation.
In a surprise visit to the sports academy, Zambian FA boss Andrew Kamanga was very impressed after touring the sports facility and the academic setup of the institution.
In his discussions with Njalla Quan Jr ( NQSA president), the President of FAZ expressed his openness to work and or collaborate with NQSA towards grassroots football development. Worthy of note, these interactions have opened up a wide scope of views about Cameroonian grassroots football level to the world with Africa Sports Management head, Murum Divine being the initiator of the meeting.
