Five Nigerian players have been named into the 2020 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Youth Women Team of the Year 2020.
The team which was compiled by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) comprises of Paris FC goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie; FC Robo Queens captain, Monday Gift; Madrid CFF defender, Chidinma Okeke; Real Zaragoza’s Peace Efih, and Pitea’s Anam Imo.
Players on the list are those given birth to from the year 2000 and above.
FC Robo Queens’ Monday Gift is the only player from the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership on the list.
She is the current leading goal scorer in the league with eight goals.
