Ayissi Lucas, deputy coach of Victoria United of Limbe says Thursday, September 22, 2022, will be a historic day for “Opopo” and the South West region.
Ayissi Lucas was speaking Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the conference room of the Limbe Centenary stadium ahead of Victoria United’s semi-final match against NGV Academy.
“We respect NGV. I watched their games and I know some of their weak points and we will use it to carry the day. It will be a historic day for us”, coach Ayissi Lucas said.
While saying that the players have forgotten about the defeat to FC Ebolowa, he disclosed that there is no pressure.
“There is no pressure at the level of the players. Every game is managed as it comes. Everything has been put in place in place”, he added.
During the last group match of Victoria United, the absence of coach Dimitar Pantev was remarkable as he was spotted in the stands.
Regarding his absence, Coach Ayissi Lucas was categorical.
“It concerns management and the coach. And I will like to talk about what is on for the next game and not the situation”, he said.
“The coach is still in the game and has not been out. He has been holding training sessions and for the game tomorrow, I will be the one to still be on the touchline”, coach Ayissi added.
Victoria United will clash with NGV Academy in the first semi-finals match on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium.
