Newly promoted Cameroon Elite One side Astres football club of Douala are already in the market for attacking options.
Kick442.com has exclusively gathered that the Douala-based outfit has identified 22-year-old YOSA of Bamenda forward, Ngong Gama Neville as a transfer target in the upcoming window.
Ngong enjoyed an impressive 2019-2020 season under coach Martin Nkabyo scoring 8 goals and providing seven assists from 27 games, helping YOSA to a 6th-placed finish.
Ngong scored braces against PWD and Panthère of Nde, appeared in the Cameroon Elite One League management body [CTT] team of the week on four occasions.
That performance has caught the attention of Astres officials who seemingly want the one-time Eding Sport de la Lekie forward on board in the wake of their return to the Elite One championship.
We understand Astres hasn’t officially approached YOSA for the player, but there are envoys with this assignment.
The former Rainbow FC forward has enjoyed steady rise in the Cameroon Elite One championship.
Astres of Douala are noted for their free-flowing football which suits the skillful forward but Kick442.com understands it is difficult for the player to look beyond staying at YOSA because this will enhance his progress Under coach Martin Nkabyo.
