Bamboutos FC of Mbouda defender Pierre François Aurélien Etame Ngombe will face his former club Eding Sport de la Lakie this Sunday afternoon in Bafoussam.
The former Eding Sport de la Lakie captain and central defender spent three seasons with the center region outfit. Etame won the Cameroon League One championship and captain the club in their one and only CAF Champions League campaign all in 2018.
Ngombe left Eding for Club Africain of Tunisia in the summer of 2018 but the deal didn’t work out for the player forcing him to return home.
He return home but didn’t feature for Eding Sport de la Lakie again.
This season, the former NQSA defender has been the main man in the Bamboutos FC backline registering some outstanding displays.
For the first time since departure from Eding, he will confront the club that made him a winner in what promises to be an emotional game not just for him.
Left back Jeff Ngongang Nana,head coach Laurent Djam and Sporting Director Kuate Yaro are all former employees of Eding Sport de la Lakie who are now on the books of Bamboutos FC.
