Bamboutos FC of Mbouda’s defender,Pierre Aurélien Ngombe Etame has told kick442.com that he is okay and ready to play.
This comes after the defender was unceremoniously substituted in the second segment of their two all draw against TKC in match-day 25 of the elite one championship.
Reports emerged from unconfirmed sources stating that the defender allegedly suffered from food poisoning.
Etame confirmed the reports in his conversation with Kick442.com this Wednesday but reassured fans of Bamboutos FC on his availability.
“Well I had difficulties in Sunday’s game, I couldn’t continue that’s why I was substituted. It was a minor issue, it appeared I consumed something my system could not accommodate. But I am happy all is well now and I can play”: Etame concluded
Etame has featured in all but one of his club’s 25 league games this season.
The former NQSA of Limbe and Eding Sport de la Lekie defender is one of the reason for the Bamboutos FC resurgence.
Etame will be the focus this Wednesday when he lines up against his former club.He captain and won the league title with Eding Sport in 2017.
His brilliant performance this season has won the hearts of many football lovers though the same can’t be said about coach Yves Clement Arroga who is still to give the boy a chance to be in the intermediate Lions of Cameroon den.
