Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon attacking midfielder Genevieve Edith Ngo Mbeleck has penned a one-year contract extension with Israeli women’s top-flight Championship side FC Kiryat Gat.
The 27-year-old former AS FAP of Yaoundé-Cameroon and Sporting Huelva midfielder will continue her football career in Israel after an impressive first season with FC Kiryat.
Ngo Mbeleck joined the Club on a one-year deal in November 2019 and convinced her employers to earn a contract extension through her contribution last season as she scored 12 goals in 14 games across all competitions.
That output has given reason for the Club to renew their trust in the 2018 Women’s COSAFA tournament’s most valuable player.
The 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup finalist and multiple AFCON participant has been a success since joining the Club.
The native of Edea, once of FK Minsk is a part of the Cameroon team expected to face Chile on a two-legged basis for a women’s football ticket in the Tokyo 2021 Olympic games.
