Cameronian born Ngah Gael Fabrice has won his first ever CAF super Cup trophy with Raja Athletic Club of Morocco following a well deserving 2-1 victory over Eaperance of Tunis in the final of the CAF Super Cup at the Al-Gharafa Stadium in Doh,Quatar.
The 21 year old defender who joined the club from Diffa Hassani Elle Jadidi help the Moroccan outfit lift their second CAF super cup trophy since 2000.
He has been a regular for the club since joining this year and has been outstanding.
The former UMS of Loum player player’s performance for the North Africa club has ranked him among one of Cameroon’s continental joy with the youngstar upbeat about a possible national team call-up for Cameroon by the Dutch duo.
He played against his fellow country mate Frank Kom of Esperance who topped the chat of most accurate passes within the game but lost.
Esperance Tunis have now more CAF trophies than any other Moroccan club.
The 2013 FIFA club world cup attendees had won only 2 of their last seven games in all competitions.
The three time CAF champions League winners complete the list of Morocco’s celebrated club in Africa.
Esperance of Tunis tried to avoid a scary defeat in the all North Africa derby when Youcef Belaili leveled scores for the Tunisian Giants after conceding during the first half.
However ,the Green Eagles restored their lead through their captian Base Banoun to give Raja their second CAF Super Cup.
They put an end to Esperance unbeaten 16 game record in all competition.
They are now the second CAF confederation cup winners to clintch the Super Cup and second consecutive Casablanca club.
It was also Patrice Carteron first trophy.
