Renaissance FC of Ngoumou’s 19-year-old attacking midfielder has told that his club is in the best shape this season and it will take a great performance to stop them.

The forward returned from injury to score twice in last Saturday’s 3-2 victory over AS Matelots and added another goal in the 2 nil win over Leopards Sportive. Nguebe thinks their recent run of five consecutive victory has been thanks to the new atmosphere in the team.

“Our coaches found a way to get the group more motivated and willing to fight for results. We are a good example of a team now. Everyone is dedicated to giving his alll for the good of the team, I think we are in our best shape this season. You need to observe the energy level during games, the dedication and commitment has made us much better. It will take a great performance for an opponent to get a better result than us in a game”.Nguene stated.

Renaissance FC’s recent form has taken them from the last but one spot to the second spot in the league barely five weeks after they replaced coach Anicet Koung with Franco-Morocco gaffer Ades.

They face Racing Bafoussam in the next round of matches this weekend.

Nguene will go into this fixture as a main man having scored three goals in his last two games.
