Champions Cotonsport of Garoua have trained in Limbe on Tuesday ahead of their Wednesday’s match day 6 class against New Stars of Douala in Limbe.
Rarely do we have Cotonsport play at the Ngeme Main stadium in Limbe which coincidentally was New Stars Home ground which never gave the luck they needed in the CAF confederation cup.
The game will be thw 15th Clash Between this two clubs with Cotonsport recording 7 wins while New Stars have picked up 4 wins with the rest of the games ending in a parity score.

Ahead of the game coach Bertin Ebwelle has told kick442.com that it is time for his boys to reverse the situation.
Talking about the game in the club’s base in Limbe in the night before match day,the Cameroonian tactician duel on some key issues;
“I think we are prepared psychologically after the very difficult game in Ebolowa with the pitch being an opponent just like Colombe but my boys succeeded to take away 1 point,we were satisfied with that. This is a different game, we are in Limbe,the pitch is good,the players are prepared to play in a better pitch,remember last season,New Stars was the first team to beat my team as head coach of Cotonsport therefore it is going to be a special match for me,the players will be reminded of this,we have to reverse this situation on Wednesday. Last Season New Stars did well in this game in this city of Limbe. This game gives us opportunity to that sharping the group ahead of the second round,it is against a good chance for the boys to prove they merit their place in a team where competition for places is becoming very intense”
”Sincerely i know recovery is not always easy for us because of the long trips we make every season,fatigue has an impact in our performance on Wednesday against New Stars we will study things and see how the players perform especially against a New Stars that didn’t play”
”Personally I very motivated and I have to tell my players about this,I have not won a match in Limbe and I feel tomorrow is the day for us and our supporters who are to assemble in Ngeme.” Etta Bawak and Andoulou Serge will play tomorrow against their former clubs.i expect them to put up the best performance of their Career.”
New Stars Sporting Director,Gerard Mbimi told kick442.com his team is prepared.

“I think playing against APEJES over the weekend will have been a preparatory game but on the other hand, I think the fact that we didn’t play over the weekend is an advantage for us,I remember i had a similar situation in 2004,i had to play against Racing in a weekend game that never took place,we traveled to Garoua and on a Monday and beat Cotonsport by 2-1. Iy has been a very difficult start for us this season just like in the last two season,we have 4 points in 4 games,we are at the bottom, we have to do all to get out of this bottom place. We have a Psychological advantage here in Limbe,we are not afraid of Cotonsport, we beat them in 45 minutes last season in Limbe,we had a similar performance in CAF competition” Veteran Mbimi told Kick442.com

Cotonsport will be out Ngeme in search of their first win in 5 games in Limbe while New Stars that have scored just 1 goal in their last 4 games in all competitions in Ngeme will be looking for their first win at the Limbe since January 2018 when the club beat Deportivo Niefang of Equatorial Guinea by 2-1 in a CAF Confederation Cup game.
Coincidentally New Stars was one of two professional teams to play a league game in Ngueme when they faced USD in 2016 just before the AWCON in Cameroon.
