Midfield maestro Yoh Carine has played her first game for potential Women’s Guinness Super League side Amazone FAP.
The 27-year-old former Sunshine Queens of Nigeria midfielder was introduced by coach Mike in the last 20 minutes of the 10-2 victory against Renaissance women’s in the match-day 7 of the championship played in Yaounde.
It was the first time in seven years that Carine featured in the Cameroon Elite women’s football championship with her last appearance dating back to 2914 for Panthere Security of Garoua just before traveling abroad.
The addition of the Cameroon international to the ranks of FAP adds more quality to the team as they embark in the business stretch of the season.
Speaking post-match, Carine expressed her satisfaction about the result and game time having been injured in most of part of last year.
The 28-year-old one-time Ataşehir Belediyespor midfielder will likely be a part of the FAP team that will travel to Bamenda to challenge Vision Sports midweek in match-day eight of the Cameroon women’s top-flight championship.
